PTFE and PTFE filled billets are peeled into tapes of different thicknesses, ranging from 0.025mm up to 6mm.
The PTFE billet is peeled by means of a sharp steel blade, used at a low angle to the surface.

All our films are subjected to a computerized visual inspection system to ensure consistent quality. We are able to supply high quality films and tapes with strict tolerances on width and thicknesses.

Spark Test Detectors are instruments that use high-voltage electricity to locate tapes defect that are not readily visible, such as pinhole. Spark Test can be performed on the entire length of the tape assuring the absence of pinholes.Regarding the realization of

• Ready-to-use tapes are available for the most common sizes and thicknesses.
• Special sizes, thicknesses and special compounds are available on request.
• Tapes may be offered without etching, one side etched and two sides etched. Please refer to our etching technology page.
